As Neighbourhood Houses in Brimbank we acknowledge that volunteers are the backbone of our vibrant community. The Brimbank Volunteer conference is therefore an opportunity to thank you all our quiet achievers who generously donate their time to make Brimbank a better place to live, work and play.

This is an exciting opportunity as it is the very first time that Brimbank volunteers from schools, recreation/sporting groups, churches, community groups, youth groups and seniors groups will be brought together for professional development and networking opportunities. We have a fantastic program planned. With inspiring speakers who will cover a range of topics from how to engage young people in volunteering, how to build a sustainable environment, media tips and governance of community organisations. We also have some great examples of inspiring Brimbank people who are achieving great things.

There will also be lots of yummy food, fun, entertainment and giveaways. With the support of our sponsors, who are acknowledged in the brochure, there is no charge to attend this conference. Numbers are however limited, we therefore encourage volunteers to register early to avoid disappointment.
