THIKWEST will be launching its new promotional CD ROM at the Adult Learner's Expo on 5th September 2007. It will be launched by the Honorable Joan Kirner. The CD was produced as part of a collaborative effort that involved the 8 community centres that make up the THIKWEST Cluster as well as hundreds of staff and students. The CD is aimed at people and organisations that are new to community centres, neighborhood houses and the Western Region in general. It attempts to show who THINKWEST are, what they do and what the people who use these centres say about them. It was also designed to dispell some myths about the western suburbs and to show that THINKWEST are innovative leaders in Adult Community Education and community programs and services.
