Maribyrnong Community Centre is a Council managed service that along with Maidstone  and Braybrook Community Centres form the Community Centres Network. All facilities  offer programs for community activity and are available for hire for functions,  meetings, conferences and other community events

Programs on offer include English as a Second Language, Yoga, Ballroom and Latin  Dancing, Line Dancing, Calligraphy, Adventure Playgroup and Kids Cooking classes

Maribyrnong and Braybook have parent run playgroups. Maidstone has a free Toy Library  Service for local residents. A Tool Library operates from Braybrook.

Maidstone and Braybrook have Community Gardens, which gives local residents an  opportunity to share in growing and accessing fresh fruit, vegetables and hers.

Occasional Childcare operates from both Maribyrnong and Braybook, providing families  with quality childcare in a warm, nuturing environment with qualified early childhood  professionals.

Maribyrnong offers Occasional Childcare Monday to Friday from 9.30am –  2.30pm.

Braybrook offers Occasional Childcare Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 2.00pm.
