Laverton Community Centre & Neighbourhood House operates on a service model offering a range of complimentary programs including education, childcare, emergency relief, financial & family counseling & various ethno-specific & self help groups.  Education programs range from accredited English as a Second Language & Literacy courses & national training packages including Hospitality & Business Services to a wide range of personal development, hobby & craft programs. 

So if you want to get a nationally recognized certificate in any of the following: Foodhandling, Responsible Service of Alcohol, Responsible Service of Gaming, Bookkeeping & a range of computer software programs including Word, Excel & MYOB, we can help you here at Laverton Community Centre. Or if you want to learn English as a second language, improve your reading and writing skills we have programs for you. 

Maybe you want a learn a new skill or find a new hobby, take up a new activity and meet new people while you do it. Look at the range of options available – Floral Art, Pilates, Calligraphy,  Leadlighting are just some of the classes we have.

In addition to these programs, the Centre also offers financial & family counseling by appointment, emergency relief to residents within the Laverton area, a low cost Community Café providing three course meals Monday to Thursday and a new Childrens Centre which provides Long Day & Alternative care, Kindergarten & other Childrens services.
