Angliss Neighbourhood House is situated within the City of Maribyrnong in the suburb of Footscray. Footscray is a multi cultural community with over 40% of residents coming from a non English speaking background. The ANH is located in the William Angliss Housing Estate which consist of 70 % public housing. The house was established in 1991, has been incorporated and run by a Committee of Management with is elected annually.

The Angliss Neighbourhood House receives grants from both the City of Maribyrnong and the Department of Human Services. The House provides a range of programs, classes and activities for local residents. It involves people from the community in all aspects of these programs and in the management of the House.
